My goal for this yearly fundraiser for women affected by domestic violence is deeply rooted in my personal experience with this issue. Having endured domestic violence myself, I vividly remember the feeling of being unnoticed and unheard. Therefore, our mission extends beyond raising funds; it is about shining a light on the bravery of these women, especially mothers, who often bear the heaviest burdens silently.
Putting personal self-care gifts together is a simple yet profound way of showing an act of kindness to remind these mothers how far they've come and not to neglect themselves. Through these gestures, I aim to uplift and support them on their journey to healing and empowerment.
